America's bureaucracy becomes stranger by the day. How is it within the federal health authority's power (let alone their concern) to block landlords from evicting tenants who don't pay their rent? This is one of the most blatant violations of property rights going on right now as they have essentially nationalised the tenancies of these buildings. They have not nationalised the financial burden imposed on the landlords, as they still have to pay their mortgages and pay for maintenance. This is socialism.
